The second mirror is something that needs to be understood with great sensitivity. The experience of the author who translated this book is a testimony to this.
From 1997 to 2002, when I started meditating, I felt that I had changed, but there was no major change in the relationships around me.
The manifestation of these thoughts revealed to me the nature of the second mirror. The second mirror is based on the assumptions we make about others.
We interact with new people without any thought. But with those we have already met, we only interact with the thought that this is how they are and their qualities.
Because, we may have already been hurt by an incident that happened to your close relatives. We will suffer without forgetting or forgiving it.
My wife, thinking that she can get angry at anything, expressed her anger the moment I approached her.
I could only dress all my parents and friends with preconceptions in some way.
Our preconceptions are also the power of emotions. That energy itself paves the way for the continuation of the same situation.
Then I would think, "These people are fools. I am happy to meditate." I thought with spiritual arrogance that they need meditation.
