The five bodies are according to Patanjali's Yoga Sutra

According to Patanjali's Yoga Shastras, our body is not a single body.  It has five bodies. A body is made up of five body layers.

The first body mentioned by Patanjali is the food body called Annamaya Kosha. Since food comes from the soil, you survive on it

The food body is the basis of the whole. When you eat sattvic food, everything works normally.

When you eat processed food like meat that cannot be digested, the body starts acting differently. You soon get tired and fall asleep.

Fasting is rest for our body. That is why our ancestors follow the fasting at least once in a week.

During fasting, one should stay away from the thoughts of food by sensing the activities of the body.

If you keep attention to the food and fast, the acid secretion in the body will have negative effects.

A person who lives as if food is his life will not be able to enter the next stage of the body.

Next is Pranamya Kosha. It is the pranic body. It has electrical and magnetic energy.

When others go near one who is very attentive to this pranic body, that energy spreads to them.

Although Pranayama Kosha is located within the body, a halo occurs around the physical body

When the body is clean, the physical body works wonderfully.

That is why those who teach yoga also give so much importance to Pranayamam

The third mental body is the body called manomaya kosha. This is the root word of the word man.

Most human beings operate through a borrowed mind without their own understanding through religious beliefs only they are creating their beliefs.

They make decisions at any time only on borrowing minds. Their own mind is not functioning for them.

They have an attitude of comparison with others, they call it faith.

Faith will create a false mind. The word faith becomes redundant among those who live independently.

Only the mental body develops in them.

The fourth body is called Vijñānamaya Koṣa. This is very clear. It's about waiting for whatever happens.

No matter what happens, they don't fight. Waiting for what to happen.

The fifth is the Anandamaya Kosha, the body of bliss. It is far removed from us, that is, from our physical body.

This is a very sacred body. This is the body that is above all emotions.

The five bodies mentioned above are made up of the five elements earth, fire, water, air and space.

Our body is bound to these five elements.
