7. Avoid the use of medicines to cure diseases of the body. This is because the cosmic energy obtained through meditation is capable of curing all diseases. Moreover, most of the diseases are caused by the unnecessary thoughts of the mind.
Sometimes, if it is due to karma, it is better to experience it in this life itself. Some physical ailments may also be to learn experiential lessons. Therefore, it is better not to resort to medicines or doctors for anything.
8. The food should be vegetarian. Eat only when you are hungry. Do not eat more than necessary. Vegetarianism is the food of human beings. Non-vegetarian food is already digested and is only harmful to the body.
Moreover, when we kill a living being, the feeling of fear and pain in it mixes with its flesh and if we cook it and eat it, many diseases will develop in us due to the poisonous nature of those feelings. In addition, you will have to experience the fruits of karma.
9. Spend more time in forests, grasslands, rivers, mountains and places with natural surroundings. The proximity of nature to the cosmic energy increases the strength of the meditative energy during the time of meditation.
If we spend time in natural regions, a sense of peace, relaxation and bliss will naturally develop within us. We can feel the miracle of nature connecting us with its energy.
10. Avoid wearing spiritual clothes, wearing spiritual objects and getting spiritual mudras pierced on the body. True spirituality does not require identities.
These signs really show a lack of faith within us. External identities do not bring about internal changes.
And often these identities are an expression of the ego that I am superior or different.
11. Young people should come forward to know spirituality. The general consensus is that spirituality is for the elderly.
In fact, young people can get great benefits from meditation. So, parents need to understand this first.
If you teach them meditation at an early age, they will lead a better and more confident life
Their memory power will increase, and they will not develop unwanted habits. They enjoy life in a state of dependence on no one.
12. Those who meditate on ānāpanasati are not disciples. They will always be teachers, that is; by doing this meditation, everyone will be able to take independent decisions without being dependent on others.
They do not depend on anyone even for their spiritual development. As they become teachers, they will teach meditation to others and create more teachers.
