Childishness or childlikeness, which gives wisdom

Childishness or childlikeness, which gives wisdom
Childishness or childlikeness, which gives wisdom

It is said that children are close to God. Because children are innocent. And there will be no mind developed for them to suffer.

Jesus says, "Whoever becomes a child can enter the kingdom of God."  What does it mean to become a child?

When a child laughs, it is said that God shows him flowers and if he cries, he plays hide-and-seek.

In fact, children are in a timeless state when they are infants and are in contact with the universe that is in the same state.

This childlike nature changes in us as we grow. When we start including past events, the mind begins to form.

Then, with future expectations, we begin to miss out on the present.

It is also important to know the difference between childishness and childlikeness.

As a child, there is a tendency to live only in the present life and not expect the results of the actions.

Childishness includes many things such as stubbornness, arrogance, thinking to achieve things by crying, not speaking angrily, etc.

Even if we move away from childhood, we continue to increase our childishness. Our mind carries the past and experiences suffering.

It is also haunted by dreams of the future.  Expectations lead to disappointment.  The creation of the mind is the cause of the whole misery of our lives.

That is why many great saints from Buddha onwards have said that stopping the activity of the mind is the first step in spirituality.

Meditation is a very effective tool to observe the flow of the mind and reduce its activity.

There are many meditation techniques, but the Buddha's method of meditation is the Anapana Sati meditation. In this meditation method, one can easily go into a state of mindlessness.

The reason for going into a state of mindlessness is that we can easily attain childlikeness and feel cosmic connection

Some people do not give up childishness even as adults. Some people never get childlikeness.

Mentally deranged persons and children, even if they are mindless, do not become enlightened.

There is a beautiful spiritual contradiction in this. It is only when we form the mind and learn everything and then leave the use of the mind and become mindless that we attain self-realization.

Childishness is in everyone. Childlikeness is very rare. Childlikeness is the quality of creativity. Let us all meditate to attain this divine nature.
